Financial Reporting Section Head

Oversee and manage the financial reporting function within the organization, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and providing strategic insights to support decision-making.

 

•        Understand and adhere to Parkville's values/Policies and ensure all subordinates fully comply with values, regulations, policies, Code of Conduct, terms, and conditions announced from the Human Resources Department.

 

•        Set targets/performance plans and objective standards for subordinates, meet with them one-on-one weekly to review performance, progress, and targets or whenever needed.

 

•        Deliver deep formal performance reviews/feedback for everyone from the team member Semi-annually and annually.

 

•        Oversee the preparation and submission of accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, in compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

 

•        Conduct in-depth analysis of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cashflow statements, to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement. Provide insights and recommendations to senior management.

 

•        Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and financial reporting guidelines, such as Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Stay updated on changes in reporting standards and regulations and implement necessary adjustments.

 

•        Establish and maintain robust internal controls over financial reporting processes to ensure the integrity and reliability of financial data. Implement and monitor compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Education

A  bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.

Experience

From 6 - 8 years professional experience  in financial reporting, budgeting, cost management, and financial analysis with  2 years in managerial position.
